Hello Dear Members,
On behalf of the leaders and the planning committee I would like to formally announce and invite you to the End of Year Party that will be taking place on November 23,2019.

This years event will be bigger and better With performances from our very own TCAC Youth and many more exciting entertainment.
We will also have dignitaries joining our event, details regarding this will be communicated by the leadership closer to the date.

Tickets are also officially on sale. To make the process easier this year , most of our leaders will have tickets for sale. Please do not hesitate to contact them or the contacts on the poster.

FLASHBACK END OF YEAR PARTY – 2017

Members;

It’s hard to believe summer is here after a long winter. We had a busy year so far, a lot of activities and engagement with different communities, organizations and all levels of government. Our existence has been felt with more potential and opportunities for our Association to grow and prosper. On behalf of the Executive Team, I would like to thank you all.This year, Summer BBQ (Nyama Choma) promises to be much bigger family fun-filled day celebration with a lot of food and games / sports. The menu includes different types of meat (nyama choma), kid’s food (hot dogs / hamburgers and etc) without compromising the vegie. The location is one of the most recently developed park in Calgary with great amenities such as basketball courts, playscape, pathways, soccer field, tennis courts, toboggan hill and wading pool / spray park. Please save the day and come out to support your community while having fun. We are organizing a soccer game between Calgary and Edmonton / Friends of TCAC. We are taking this game very serious as we continue with our soccer practices every Saturday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.In addition, we are looking for volunteers. Please let us know if you would like to be part of this historic day. We are also welcoming any suggestions or ideas to make this day, “your day”.

It is another exciting moment that, the TCAC is inviting you, your family and friends to our first ever 2018 POTLUCK EVENT to be held on May 12, 2018 at Renfrew Community Hall located at 811 Radford Rd N.E. This special event will include but not limited to Tanzanian and International Home-made Cuisine, kids and youth activities, music performance, community engagement and awareness with Calgary police and fire department and many more.

Community Members;

I would like to THANK all of you who attended our 2017 Annual General Meeting. I appreciate for those who notified us in advance that they will miss the meeting due to various reasons. For those who didn’t make, we are looking forward to see you at the next meeting.

We have been informed that, other members are not on this mailing list. However, due to some technicalities, we will have to create a new database (mailing list). I, therefore ask you to accept the invitation from the new mailing list when it comes out. If you know someone who is not receiving our emails, please let us know.

Our End of the Year Party is around the corner. To make this event a success and less stress to the Organizing Team, please RSVP and buy your tickets as early as you can. The deadline is Nov 01. This year’s event is Unique, Classy and has more to offer. Don’t Wait to Hear the Stories But Be Part of the Stories. The Organizing team will reach out to you, please respond positively and join the Fun Day on Nov 11. Again, everyone is invited, share this to as many people as you can.

Community Members;

For the 1st time, TCAC in partnership with Afrodivaz presents to you Annual Nyama Choma Festival here in Calgary. It will be a unique event where family and friends will gather and enjoy summer with Nyama Choma while assimilating with other community members. There will be plenty of activities including KIDS FUN GAMES. Game of the day will be between Tanzania and Other East African Counties. All people are invited.
