TCAC Insurance (Provided by AIL)
TCAC is working with American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL in Canada) to provide members with coverage for a $3,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment benefit. This is available to you at NO COST to you or TCAC. You have this coverage simply because you are a member of TCAC.
The letter
You will be receiving a letter with information about the program and a beneficiary designation card with an addressed postage paid envelope in the mail.
A call from an AIL representative
When you fill out and send in a designation of beneficiary, an AIL representative will follow-up with you and book an appointment to provide other no-cost items and your Certificate of Coverage. If you choose not to designate a beneficiary you are still covered by the AD&D. Please keep your letter in your important papers. Should you pass away as a result of an accident, the benefit will be paid to your estate.
The meeting
AIL in Canada is working to keep everyone safe and healthy during this pandemic and representatives are meeting with members using different virtual meeting formats, for example Zoom, Facebook Messenger, which ever is most comfortable for you. Representatives, on your request, will meet with you in person. During the meeting the representative with do a needs-based analysis that will help you secure your future financial security. The meeting is voluntary.
