Our main focus is to elevate, inspire and motivate young people to reach their full potential through youth empowerment and youth involvement.

Objectives

  • Empower and encourage the young generation through community volunteering and youth participation in different community events.
  • Provide a space for reflection, communication, mentorship and growth through innovation and implementation.
  • Assist the youth in personal growth and development while at the same time contributing to social and economic development through their communities.
  • Nurture the youth to aspire to leadership position in the Association.
  • Recognize youth contributions to the development of the Association.
  • Organize activities and expose the youth to Tanzanian cultures, including language.

Youth Mentorship Program

Youth mentoring is the process of matching mentors with young people who need or want a caring, responsible adult in their lives. This program is also intended to connect people who have specific skills and knowledge with individuals who need or want the same skills.

Goal of the TCAC-Youth Mentoring Program
The goal of this program is to improve the well-being of the youth by providing a role model that can support the child academically, socially and/or personally. Also, to encourage, inspire and motivate young people to reach their full potential.

Youth Scholarships Referral Program

Youth referral program is a program intended to recommend TCAC youth to other institutions or charitable organizations which issue post-secondary education’s scholarships here in Canada or in the world.

Goal of the Scholarships Referral Program
The goal of this program is to assist youth who are seeking for financial support in order to achieve their educational goals, career inspirations, growth potential and become productive contributing members of the society.

Watoto Blog

Welcome to TCAC watoto blog, “Watoto” is a Swahili word meaning “Children”. In this space we will be sharing short stories, pictures and mini videos from the youth in our community and their friends.

The purpose of the blog is to motivate, encourage, inspire and empower our youth to reach the full potential and expand their creative mind.

Our youth are free to tell or write their stories in both English or Swahili so that they can continue to learn, practice and also promote Swahili language.

Any child between the age of 6- 19 can participate, please send your stories to: watototcac@gmail.com
